My longtime friend, Beth, came over with her daughter, Lucia, today.
We had a glass of wine, fed the kids lunch and then went outside to let them run around.
Its 90 degrees here and while that’s normal for Georgia, its HOT for New Hampshire so we broke out the hose. (That’s what you do when you don’t have a pool, right?)
Lucia is one year old and adorable. She and Dylan played well together and he totally got a hug out of her.
Beth and I met in elementary school and bonded over cheerleading and misfiting. I spent many, many, many days of my junior high and high school years basically living at her house (which was/is shaped like an igloo!). Our little group was so close I remember a Christmas when I had as many presents under the tree at Beth’s house (thanks to her uber-generous mom) as I did at my own house! Anyway, its fun to come home and have friends here since I still haven’t made many in Georgia for whatever reason. I’m going to be a bridesmaid in Beth’s wedding this September so we have exciting things to look forward to in the coming months too!
I think I’ll go on FB and see if I can find any old pictures of us…
Ha! That was easy. Okay, this first one is embarrassing but within reason for the decade in which it was taken:
But this one! Oh, lordy! I don’t want to include it. It is beyond awful. My hair scream lioness. And yet, I must…I’m sick in the head in that way. (holding breath)
Ahhhhhhhh! Quick! Let’s move on to something way less embarrassing for me! I was worried you weren’t going to be able to watch a video about ham today, so here you go:
Phew.
