H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y to my lovely mother!
(Also, can you figure out what’s going on in the picture at the top of this post?)
I think my mom had a pretty good day!
She does so much for all of us every day that we all just wanted her to have time to relax today. We went out for a light lunch, she had her nails done, and then most of the family got together for dinner at The Oaks, a restaurant on the golf course where Kelly got married just a couple of years ago.
(Look at her now! Go, Kelly, go!)
Because we had such a crowd, including lots of little people, they sat us outside where we could spread out and make a mess.
This was a lucky break because it was beautiful outside and the view of the golf course was great! Parker is a ball guy and especially enjoyed watching the golfers play.
It was a long meal with drinks, appetizers, entrees, dessert…and oh. my. god. I am so FULL right now!
This boy definitely inherited my sweet tooth:
I think that’s all he inherited from me, though! Well, maybe the hair.
Circling back to the picture at the top of this post; if you guessed that Ryder got my mother a golf ball for her birthday and was balancing it on her head while she gave Trevor a bottle and Dylan snuck frosting from her birthday cake, you’re riiiiiight! And for your brilliance I bestow upon you, um, this picture of my elbow:
Congratulations!
****
One more H.B. to my mom and Dylan’s Grammy!
We love you to pieces!
