Hi Guys!

I have so many great pictures from the weekend! If you like cute kids, stick around because I’ve got cuteness coming in spades!

Dylan and I accompanied my mom and grandmother on a slew of errands Saturday morning. We set out early and got breakfast first.

Dylan has letter-radar. He has been slowly but steadily accumulating letter toys. He picked up a letter puzzle at the first store we visited and then carried it into all subsequent stores. He wouldn’t leave it in the car or let me carry it for him.

My grandmother often buys a bunch of scratch tickets then passes them around. Even Dylan got in on the lottery fun!

Dylan was getting antsy by the time we reached our third or fourth stop of the day so I stayed with him in the car and he had fun with the sunroof!

We were out long enough to warrant another meal, so we stopped by Friendly’s for lunch. I captured a funny exchange between my grandmother and Dylan. Dylan got his lunch first and my grandmother asked if she could have one of his fries. Dylan said “no” and my grandmother was very offended!

She tried to laugh it off, but you could tell she was still eyeing those fries!

I really don’t like eating at Friendly’s, but Dylan likes it so much that it is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants.

We eventually made our way back home and took some time to relax. Dylan and I played with more of his letters for awhile…

I wanted to send a picture of the letters to Jay that read, “Dylan Loves Dad” but we didn’t have enough Ds. Dylan improvised.

Later in the afternoon we decorated Easter eggs. Dylan had a blast! He loves paint, Humpty Dumpty and messes, so it was right up his alley.

These are some of the most special moments…

The whole egg dying ordeal was a blur. I had visions of delicately and deliberately creating egg masterpieces, but once we got started I quickly changed my expectations and just tried to contain the dye and keep at least a couple of the eggs from being entirely smashed as Dylan aggressively colored them.

As the eggs were flying around, I thought they were coming out weird, but later, when they were dry and sitting on plates, I could see that they were actually quite beautiful.

Artists always suffer for their work, don’t they? My fingers certainly suffered for those eggs!

Fast forward a few hours and I made an Easter cake after Dylan went to bed. Here’s how it turned out:

It was very easy to make. It involved two 9-inch cake pans and then you do this:

Everyone gathered at my parents’ house in the late morning on Easter day. This is where Cute-Kidapalooza begins! I like nothing more than a house full of happy little children!

Parker and Trevor:

I just loved Parker’s jacket!

Trevor had the same jacket but didn’t want to wear it. Dylan was the same way: I had a bunch of Eastery shirts for him to wear but he refused them all. He only wanted to wear an undershirt.

Trevor was sleepy today…

My mother served her traditional Polish Easter breakfast and it was delicious, as usual!

The kids went on an egg hunt after that! We hid them all in the basement. My mom is incredible. She makes all of our holidays special. She cooked two big meals, made beautiful Easter baskets for all the kids, stuffed eggs with treats for the egg hunt and did a million other things today too. I am always in awe of her because she does so many things but never seems that busy.

A rare moment where all four of the little cousins were sitting at the same time.

My happy place Smile

(I don’t know why they had their arms up, but its cute!)

This is probably Kelly’s happy place too…

It was mild outside so we were in and out throughout the day. Here, Dylan got some love from his Auntie Alana! This is a great picture of them! (And the license plate.)

This could be a Tropicana commercial:

Ryder put on a great concert in the afternoon. He sings and plays guitar.

Dylan was x-STATIC over the music!

Another rare, quite moment:

I will always remember this wonderful day…a truly happy Easter.
