Have you missed me? Its been almost a week since my last update and I have so much to share. We have been so busy the last few days with traveling and dealing with life stuff, but let’s take a breather from the chaos right now and dive into this recap before its Saturday again and this is old news!

Mom, grab a coffee. Grammy, grab a quarter of a muffin. Everyone else, kick up your feet and enjoy the show!

This was the weekend of my friend, Beth’s, wedding (lots of wedding pics coming later in this post!). I’ve known Beth since first grade so it was special for me to be in her wedding party. Jason flew in for the event Friday night and on Saturday morning the two of us took Dylan to Beth’s house for a rehearsal breakfast celebration. The food was amazing but I forgot to take pictures of it (good thing this isn’t a food blog!). I did get this picture of Dylan kissing Beth’s dogs through a glass door:

After breakfast we headed to the wedding location, Flaghill Winery in Lee, NH, for the rehearsal. Here I am with the bride:

Jay watched Dylan while I learned my part in the ceremony.

Dylan had so much fun running through the grape vines:

When the rehearsal was over Jason and I bought a bottle of blueberry wine from the winery and headed back to my parents house where we drank it. Meanwhile, my family spent the day tailgating at a UNH football game.

Jason and I were feeling nostalgic for our own wedding so we requested to go out to dinner at the place where we got married, The Wolfeboro Inn, in Wolfeboro, NH. We went with Dylan and these two lovely ladies:

Thank you, Mom and Grammy, for treating us to a great meal!

Again, I forgot to take pictures of my food but it was incredible. The only picture I thought to take was of these asparagus fries:

When we were done eating we let Dylan run around the inn. It was fun walking by the room where Jay and I slept on our wedding night with Dylan, the product of our love. Dylan was happy to be there, too, but for different reasons. He was excited because there was an elevator with buttons to push:

Sunday was all about the wedding! We laid low all morning, but after Dylan went down for his nap, Jay and I spiffed up and headed back to the vineyard. My dapper date:

Jason was sanctioned to be the wedding photographer and he did an outstanding job (if I do say so myself). He is allowing me to share the following pictures with you provided you keep in mind that these pictures have not been edited yet so they are still rough.

Beth and Adam have a young daughter named Lucia and this Elmo balloon had the responsibility of coaxing her down the aisle in the right direction.

And now, the bride!

I must warn you, the following pictures are so lovely you might think this wedding was staged for a bridal magazine. I assure you, it was not. Adam and Beth are just beautiful people! (…and my husband is an awesome photographer!)

See Beth’s mom, Karen, on the left of this picture? She was a second mother to me in high school. I have so many wonderful memories of the many days I spent at her house as a teenager!

And one more…

Gah! They are such a gorgeous couple! Congratulations Beth, Adam and little Lucia and thank you for letting us be a part of your day!

And that concludes the weekend recap…

I spent the day on Monday saying goodbye to everyone in New Hampshire and spent the night packing. Jay gave me a real hard time for bringing so much on my trip and wanted me to submit this picture as photo evidence that I am, as the name of this blog implies, a mess:

And with that I bid you good night, good luck and good love.
